At Service Paws, we empower individuals with disabilities, veterans, and first responders to lead more independent lives through professional service dog training programs. Founded in January 2017 and based in Layton, Utah, we proudly offer in-person training classes tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Formerly known as Service Dog Support and Training Solutions, our nonprofit organization is committed to helping people train their own service dogs, strengthening the bond between handler and dog while building confidence, life skills, and freedom.
🐶 Expert-Led Service Dog Training – Our programs are designed for owner-assisted training, empowering clients to take an active role in their dog’s development.
🇺🇸 Special Support for Veterans & First Responders – We understand the unique challenges faced by those who have served and tailor our training to support both visible and invisible disabilities.
🐾 Rescue Dog Partnerships – We work closely with local shelters to give rescue dogs a second chance, transforming them into skilled, reliable service animals.
Our mission is to provide affordable, high-quality service dog training that increases independence, enhances daily life, and fosters lasting companionship. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to live without limits—and that with the right guidance, a service dog can make that possible.
At Service Paws, we do more than train dogs. We build relationships, restore hope, and create opportunities. Every pawprint represents progress, and every partnership represents purpose.
At Service Paws, we recognize that healing isn’t always visible—and neither is strength. Many of the individuals we serve live with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions that can make everyday life feel overwhelming.
Our trained service dogs provide more than companionship—they offer grounding, comfort, and confidence during life’s most difficult moments.
This month, let’s break the silence, reduce the stigma, and honor every journey toward healing.
You’re not alone. 🐾💙
