At Service Paws, weāre more than service dog trainersāweāre a nonprofit community dedicated to transforming lives through the powerful bond between people and dogs. As a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, every program we offer is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and accessibility.
Our mission goes far beyond teaching commands. We specialize in owner-assisted service dog training, helping individuals with disabilitiesāincluding veterans, first responders, and those with invisible injuriesātrain their own highly skilled service dogs. These dogs donāt just follow cuesāthey become trusted partners, providing confidence, emotional support, and the freedom to navigate daily life with greater independence.
Service Paws proudly organizes therapy dog visits to schools, senior centers, hospitals, and military bases across our region. Our certified therapy teams bring comfort, smiles, and a calming presence to those facing lifeās toughest moments. Whether itās brightening a classroom, easing anxiety in a hospital room, or supporting veterans during recovery, these visits remind people they are not alone.
To help fund our mission, we offer affordable one-on-one dog training sessions for local families. From rambunctious puppies to older dogs learning better manners, our positive, relationship-based training strengthens the human-animal bond at every stage. And hereās the best part: 100% of training proceeds go directly toward supporting our nonprofit programs, allowing us to reach more individuals and dogs in need.
Whether you’re looking for greater independence, wanting to give back through therapy dog work, or simply hoping to raise a happy, well-behaved companion, Service Paws is here to walk beside youāevery step of the way.
Together, weāre creating a more compassionate, inclusive worldāone paw at a time.
At Service Paws, we recognize that healing isn’t always visibleāand neither is strength. Many of the individuals we serve live with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions that can make everyday life feel overwhelming.
Our trained service dogs provide more than companionshipāthey offer grounding, comfort, and confidence during lifeās most difficult moments.
This month, let’s break the silence, reduce the stigma, and honor every journey toward healing.
You’re not alone. š¾š
