Megan has always been drawn to animals and serving others. For several years, she worked as a pet sitter and dog walker, eventually launching her own business, Happy Hearts Pet Care, six years ago. Being around animals full-time has been a dream come true for her.

In addition to her passion for animals, Megan has dedicated much of her career to supporting people with disabilities in various roles. She firmly believes that everyone deserves the best life possible and has made it her mission to contribute to that cause. Recognizing her experience and dedication, Service Paws invited her to join as a board member a few years ago. Since then, she has been committed to helping the organization grow and better serve the community.

Megan also enjoys volunteering with animal shelters and staying actively involved in the animal community and other service opportunities. She is a natural connector, always eager to make new friends and help others build meaningful connections.

🧠 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

At Service Paws, we recognize that healing isn’t always visible—and neither is strength. Many of the individuals we serve live with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions that can make everyday life feel overwhelming.

Our trained service dogs provide more than companionship—they offer grounding, comfort, and confidence during life’s most difficult moments.

This month, let’s break the silence, reduce the stigma, and honor every journey toward healing.
You’re not alone. 🐾💙
